Jonathan R. Siegel is a Professor of Law and the F. Elwood and Eleanor Davis Research Professor of Law at George Washington University Law School. A graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School, Professor Siegel clerked for Chief Judge Patricia M. Wald of the District of Columbia Circuit. He served for four years as a member of the Appellate Staff, Civil Division, of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he briefed and argued appellate cases on behalf of the President and numerous other federal government officials and agencies. He joined the GW Law School faculty in 1995. In the Fall of 2007, he served as Senior Legislative Fellow to United States Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota. In 2010 and 2011, Professor Siegel served as the Research and Policy Director for the Administrative Conference of the United States. Professor Siegel’s interests include Federal Courts, Administrative Law, Civil Procedure, and Intellectual Property.
Prior to law school, Professor Siegel was the author and product manager of CHART-MASTER, which became the number one business graphics program for the IBM PC.
