Media Appearances

April 15, 2014: I was quoted in this Politico story.

September 30, 2013: I spent almost an hour discussing tax law with Willie Shields on "The Shields Report" on WVLT radio.

February 20-21, 2010: I was quoted in this Wall Street Journal article, which was requoted in this piece in the Christian Science Monitor.

February 20, 2008: I was quoted in this Bloomberg News story .

April 14, 2007: I appeared on "Soapbox Radio" to debate the question of whether the law requires most Americans to pay income tax. My opponent was none other than convicted tax criminal Larken Rose. The podcast of the debate can be found here. (The debate starts after 15 or 20 minutes on another topic. You can skip ahead if you click on "podcast" rather than on the "play" icon.)

Amusing note: As shown here, 89.1% of listeners voted that Larken Rose won the debate! Vox populi, vox Dei? Perhaps, but, as the producer was kind enough to point out, the voters were not a random sample of the American population. Larken e-mailed his fan base to tell them to listen in. So the voting was somewhat skewed. Still, it is amazing to see how many people buy in to the tax protestor position, and how many know so much intricate detail about it. If only that energy could be channeled into something useful! My suggestion for doing so is here.
